The swimming pool will open May 31 at 5:00pm.  The pool office will be open limited hours beginning May 24 for season ticket sales and class scheduling.

Household Hazardous Material Disposal
Household Hazardous Materials Disposal
 On May 15, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, the City of Rock Rapids will be collecting Household Hazardous Materials. Collection site will be across the street from the City Office, located at 310 South 3rd Avenue.
 This service is only for residents of the City of Rock Rapids. Cost for collection and disposal of materials is free except for $1.00 per gallon for latex paint.
 Acceptable items include degreasers, waxes, polishes, solvents, lacquers, thinners, cleaners, pesticides and paint. Prohibited items include ammunition, needles, empty containers, fire extinguishers, compressed gas cylinders and pharmaceuticals.
