Help Wanted – Public Works
The City of Rock Rapids, Iowa is seeking a dedicated Public Works Maintenance I worker to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on individual who wants to contribute directly to the well-being and appearance of our community.
In this role, you will perform a variety of essential tasks that keep our city running smoothly. Your work will involve the maintenance and operation of municipal public works including buildings, grounds, streets including snow removal, parks, sewers, tree dump, swimming pool, and cemetery. This position reports directly to the Public Works Director.
Requirements:
- • A valid Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one.
- Must reside within a 3-mile radius of Rock Rapids City Hall.
