The country vet had an important job in this agricultural area. Dr. M.L. “Marion” McCormack was a very dedicated veterinarian and was highly respected by the farmers of this area and the community. Whether it was the hog cholera epidemic of the 1910’s or just the routine farm visits, Dr. McCormack knew what to do.
