Before it was Ace Hardware, before Pamida, before Feller’s, it was Frosty Forster’s Golden Rule. Frosty and Ella had no children, but through their generosity, we’ve all become like adopted children to the Forsters. They have helped fund many different projects in Rock Rapids. Among them are those pictured in the mural–Rock Rapids Kids’ Club, swimming pool complex, round barn at the fair grounds, Rock Rapids Public Library, Merrill Pioneer Community Hospital, Heritage House Museum, Forster Community Center and Forster Auditorium at Central Lyon School.
